Working in an NGO is a challenging as well as a very satisfying Job. It is a person’s prime duty to work for welfare of the society s/he is living in. NGO develops social skills in an individual and helps to make positive contribution to growth and development of the society. The other benefit of being a part of an NGO is that a person develops professional skills to meet the demands of the role and of the organisation. So it is basically like an investment for future.

SIDART NGO was registered in 1998 with the vision to realise the rights of the people and help others to realise the needs of everyone. SIDART primarily works on women empowerment, child health and nutrition, community development, rural development, capacity building of women in panchayats, adolescent health, community centre for HIV, gender concerns, action research, HIV and AIDS prevention and other social issues.

I joined SIDART with a motive to add a positive contribution to uplift the weaker sections of the society and serve the society in every manner I can. The main reason which made me join SIDART is the current scenario of increasing crime rate against women, infant mortality, improper sanitation in rural areas, etc.
