Keshav Khandelwal – India
I am Keshav Khandelwal, I am 23 years old currently living in Hyderabad in India. I was born and brought up in Jaipur. I have completed my graduation from University of Rajasthan and now I am pursuing MBA from School of Business Management- Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Hyderabad.
I have recently joined SIDART as a volunteer trainee. SIDART works on issues around women empowerment, Child Road Safety Education, Child care Health and Development, Maternal Health and nutrition, counselling on infant and young child feeding, strengthening of girls and women at panchayat level, etc. Working at SIDART makes one aware of the happenings taking place in one’s environment and contribute in some way or another to make that environment a better place.
Since the day I have joined SIDART, we have been visiting and conducting various Health Care and Nutrition camps for children at government and private schools. The camps gave us an insight of the problems related to nutrition in the children and counselling them to overcome their problems. We aim to cover a milestone of 6000 students for the Health Care and Nutrition camps. I look forward to the exciting future that awaits me at SIDART and I’m sure that it will help me to grow as an individual not only socially but holistically.

Lucie Nicole – France
I am Lucie NICOLE, from France, and I’m doing a Master’s degree of Asia-Pacific Cultures and International Affairs, at La Rochelle, France.
Professionaly, I have been highly interested in the NGO sector and their role in our global society today, but I am also personnaly commited to the social and feminist cause.
I have had few experiences as a student in East Asia before specifically in South Korea, and I thought it was important to make my degree more valuable with an experience in India, especially in SIDART.
Whille working at SIDART I am gettign the opprotunity to develop my skills and contribute to SIDART. I have made vilage and sum visits and they have been quite an eye openner for me. I ike to work with the team members and learn in the guidance and leadership Dr Pramila Sanjaya. I am grateful that I got opportunities to particiapte in high level meeting like with the Executive Director of UN GCNI, with the Country Head of WoW Factor and others. Indeed, although I have already caught sight of the variety of SIDART Projects, I am sure I will benefit from this experience by getting to understand children and women related issues in India, while making my knowledges on the Indian culture and society deeper.

Srinjana Michelle Das – India
My name is Srinjana and I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s in Political Science and Sociology from University of Delhi. I am very passionate about animals and always wanted to study animal behaviour and welfare. It is my dream to work for animals, to be around them and to conserve wildlife.
I have worked at different NGOs like Friendicoes which works for sick dogs, cats and horses, Hope and Beyond which works for birds and snakes and aashray- a home for the strays. Recently I went for a turtle conservation program to learn about turtles and marine life.
This is my first time working as an intern in an NGO and I am really looking forward to work with SIDART. The NGO is doing a great job and I am sure I will get to learn a lot of things.
It would be great to work with SIDART as they are trying so hard to make people aware of the road safety rules, they are working for the upliftment of the poor and also women empowerment. I believe that by becoming a part of sidart I would be able to help and serve people who are not that privileged. I am looking forward to help these people and making their lives better.

Ghita EL Marzouki – Morocco
Hi,
My name is Ghita EL MARZOUKI, I’m from Morocco, currently living in France, in a city named Metz. I’m a student studying to obtain my Masters in Marketing and Product Development at the Institute of Business Management of Metz. I have the opportunity this year to do an internship, and I chose to do it in India.
Indeed, I love everything about this country; the beautiful monuments, the amazing culture, and the respect of different religions amongst other things. All of these various features attracted me every time I watched a bollywood film or a documentary about India.
At the same time, I was engaged in different humanitarian projects, and all these experiences supported my passion and my will to help others the most I can. Also, I will learn from the experience of the team.
These are the reasons why I chose SIDART NGO; the fields in which the Ngo work on are very important to me and are fundamental to develop the country. Especially, the topic of women empowerment, to promote equality in work and support human rights.
If you want to do the same, join SIDART!
