I am from village Phagi. It’s been 14 years since I got married and I am a housewife. I am a Senior Secondary pass out. Earlier I was not associated with social work but once I went to a Panchayat meeting, I learned to write applications and participate in social issues meetings. I tried to spread awareness there. Once I also wrote an application to the Sarpanch for sanitary issues, they got resolved for some time but the problem cropped up again. Then I wrote an application to BDO under Right To Information Act and the issue was resolved for good.

 

I learnt a lot from Pramila ma’am, I am thankful to SIDART for everything they have done and are continuing to do for women empowerment. Now I am empowered to bring about an impact and help other women in the community. Thank you
