I come from the village Phagi and I have been living in a rental house for 19 years. I recently shifted to my own house. Ms. Asha came to me with the request to work as a village volunteer which I accepted. In my village people face a lot of problems related to sanitation and water, I formulated a women group/ women collective especially all those who were facing the problem. And with the help of Panchayat and Panchayat Samiti, I took help of all the village women and solved the issue.

I got the strength to make a difference from SIDART’s learning and exposure visits, and I hope with their help, we empower more women in villages of India.
