I am Vanshika, an undergraduate student at Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication pursuing a BA in Journalism (Honors) with Research.

My time interning at SIDART has been phenomenally productive and engaging, as I was given a chance to actively work on global human initiatives like POSH( Prevention of sexual harassment) Awareness sessions at different companies as an external team. Participating in various panel discussions and press meets also added value to my understanding of the hour,especially the important issues of social justice and community service.For me personally,SIDART’s efforts towards the empowerment of marginalized communities or the creation of safe spaces that are free from violence,discrimination, and inequality, while teaching people preventive measures for the same,are very inspiring. Every initiative with S is thoughtfully designed to empower communities and amplify crucial social issues. Working at such a professional organization inspires me to add value and focus on my personal and professional development.
Avani Kaushik
I am Avani Kaushik, from Pune, studying in Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication currently an Undergraduate student pursuing journalism.

In just my first week of working with SIDART, I already feel a deep sense of belonging and purpose. It’s rare to find a space where you not only feel welcomed but also truly inspired—and SIDART has been exactly that for me. From the very first day, I was met with warmth, encouragement, and a shared passion for creating meaningful change.

Being a part of an organization that is so committed to women’s empowerment has been profoundly moving. Even though I am just beginning and playing a small part, I can already feel the impact—both in the lives we aim to uplift and in my own personal growth. Every conversation, every project, every moment here reinforces the importance of working towards a more equal and just society.
